Babies can become cold very quickly in a swimming pool depending upon the water temperature, air temperature and on how much the baby moves when in the water. A baby who is cold will not enjoy swimming. To help them keep warm in cooler pools, we supply a special range of wetsuits particularly designed for babies. These wetsuits have 5 mm thick neoprene to help keep their bodies warm. For young or skinny babies, the baby Snug wetsuit is recommended. With its leak proof cuffs around the legs and it is built in arms – this wetsuit gives the maximum amount of warmth with the added protection from leaks as it incorporates a swim nappy.
The Baby Wrap wetsuit is best suited for older/more active babies. This baby wetsuit does not have the arms protection of the baby snug, however it does open completely flat to make putting it on baby easier. The Wrap also has large Velcro fastening panels. These help the wetsuit last longer as baby grows. We recommend baby wears a swimming nappy underneath the baby wrap to protect against leaks.
Every parent knows that getting their child out of the pool or sea, when on holiday, is no easy task. They will say they are fine even if their lips are turning blue! That is why we stock a wide selection of kids wetsuits. These neoprene suits act as an insulating barrier trapping the water close to the skin and keeping it warm, this warm water helps to keep a kid’s body warm for longer.
All of our baby and kids wetsuits provide a high level of sun protection. Making these wetsuits is a great choice for holidays.
