Flippers Terms and conditions of Bookings

When you register an interest we will place your details on our waiting list and contact you by phone to advise of the next available course dates and times for your preferred venue. If these are suitable we will confirm your details and make a provisional booking, you can secure your place by providing payment by credit or debit card at the time of booking. If you wish to pay by cash, cheque or using our on-line payment service we do ask that you do this within  7 working days to secure your child’s place.

Our lessons are run in terms. The cost of lessons is £9 and the full cost for the term will be confirmed, based on the number of weeks, at the time of booking. Full payment must be taken to secure your place. If you have more than 1 baby and toddler attending we do offer discounts so please do ask the office.

Full terms and conditions for each venue will be provided upon the booking form for each venue and you will be asked to complete and sign this at the time of booking to confirm your acceptance of such.  See example Terms and Conditions form.

Cancellation Procedure

We are not obliged to refund or transfer your money, however if you need to cancel please give written confirmation that you wish to cancel at least 10 days in advance of your course start date. Give your child’s name, lesson time, venue details and reason for cancellation. A £10 administration fee will be deducted from any refund that you are due.

Payment

We take all major credit and debit cards (either by phone or online) and can also accept payments made as cheques made payable to Flippers Swim Babes or cash (we recommend that you only use this method directly to our instructors).

Re-bookings

The key reason for our re-booking process is to allow us to fairly allocate our limited pool time to ensure we can offer places to babies on our waiting list as well as ensuring that our existing swim babes can continue to attend at a time and day that suits them.

All existing babies are offered a “priority place” for the appropriate level at the same venue and on the same day as they currently attend, wherever possible. Your instructor will advise of your allocated priority place during week 4 or 5 of the course when you can confirm, decline or request to move to another day / time. Any request for a new day / time / venue cannot be guaranteed as they will be subject to availability. Once we have confirmed your re-booking on poolside we ask that you provide payment either to your instructor, via our office or by post within 14 days. After this time you will lose your priority place.

Please note a “YES” on poolside is considered a booking and if you change your mind you must follow our cancellation procedure as set out above, simply telling your instructor or a pool receptionist cannot be accepted as a cancellation. If we have your credit / debit card details we will assume that this is how you wish to pay for your sessions unless you advise otherwise within the payment period. Course payments are usually deducted up to 2 weeks prior to the new term start date.
