TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING FLIPPERS

1. Booking forms and full class fees must be returned in advance of your course.

2. Missed lessons cannot be refunded or transferred to subsequent courses unless cancelled by swim babes.

3. Cancellations of whole courses will only be accepted with written notice more than 14 days in advance of your course start date. A £10 administration charge will be applied to your refund.

4. Swim babes reserves the right to cancel a lesson without notice, credits will be given for that lesson only. Swim babes is not responsible for travel expenses incurred. (Reasons for no notice cancellations may be unacceptable pool conditions or unexpected illness of teacher).

5. One adult must enter the water with each baby. At toddler sessions it is at the discretion of the teacher as to whether the adult remains on the side or enters the water. The adult is exclusively responsible for the safety of the baby/ toddler both in the pool and the surrounding areas.

6. Babies must wear a DOUBLE NAPPY SYSTEM, a re-usable HAPPY NAPPY swim nappy that fits snugly around baby’s legs along with a disposable swim nappy. A full range of suitable nappies are available for purchase at the pool. Babies not suitably attired will be refused entry.

7. Adults must listen to the teacher at all times and only swim their baby when instructed to do so.

8. No food to be taken into the changing rooms or onto the poolside. (drinks are acceptable).

9. Valuables are left at owner’s own risk. No jewellery (except wedding rings) is to be worn in the pool.

10. Photography and video recordings may only be taken with the permission of your teacher and the rest of the class. Anyone wishing to takes photos / film must complete a child protection register prior to the class commencing.

11. Ill babies/ toddlers must not swim; sickness and diarrhoea must have cleared at least 24 hours before entering a pool.

12. All shoes must be removed or blue overshoes worn before entering the changing areas and poolside.

13. All nappies must be disposed of in the receptacles marked for this purpose and all other rubbish must be placed in bins provided.

14. Flippers swim babes ltd reserves the right to use our photography for publicity purposes. 

15. Our BOOKINGS at each venue entitle us to remain using the facility for up to ½ hour after the end of the last session ONLY.

16. We do welcome spectators at our sessions but for health and safety reasons and for the comfort of the group this is limited to 1 per baby per session. They will be required to sign in at reception in case of emergency. Due to the limited space at many of our pools we do ask that spectators do not enter changing areas.
